CONTROLS

• Supplied units come with “Plug-&-Play” control system based on Carel programmable controller. • Plug-and-play control system is fitted with Carel th-Tune control panel which ensures basic setting options and has user friendly interface. Carel PGDe extended control panel may be fitted on request and provides more flexibility and sophisticated control adjustments.

HEAT WHEEL

Rotary heat recovery core is made of two types of material: • Sensible type (standard) • Enthalpy type. Hygroscopic coating is applied on tape, providing additional latent heat transfer from one stream to another. This feature is especially useful when using a rotor in hot and humid areas in conjunction with air conditioning system. The advantages are: high efficiency, keeping comfortable humidity and low risk of freezing.

FRAMELESS DESIGN

Frameless casing design excludes thermal bridges, usual for aluminum or steel frame. This significantly increases thermal resistance and reduces heat loss, especially for outdoor installation. It also prevents condensation on the surface when air cooling is on. Casing is made of zinc-aluminum coated sheet steel heat- and sound- insulated with 1 9/16” mineral wool layer. Benefits of frameless casing: • Better thermal resistance • Lower weight of the unit • No thermal bridges • Suitable for outdoor installation in cold climate • High mechanical strength

BlauAIR - Air handling unit for commercial heat recovery ventilation system


The operation of the air-recovery system is very important in any room, especially if it is a large commercial, civil, or industrial facility with a significant number of people, because it is about health, safety, and comfort. For the ventilation of such facilities, sophisticated and high-tech equipment is required.

BlauAIR is a multifunctional air handling unit that will provide efficient ventilation, the best comfort, and the best microclimate in a shopping center, business, or other large facility. Its productivity is high - up to 6,000 m3/h. The units also serve to maintain temperature, humidity, energy recovery, and air filtration in the premises.

The ventilation unit supplies external air and removes the exhaust air. Thanks to the operation of the rotary heat exchanger or plate heat exchanger, the warm exhaust air gives away most of its heat to fresh inflow, which significantly reduces heat losses during the cold season. In the summer period, the reverse process occurs: the cooled withdrawn air transfers part of the cold to the warm supply air.

The unit is designed using advanced technologies for maximum energy efficiency. BlauAIR is equipped with electronically commutated EC-motors, they are characterized by high performance and low power consumption.

This air handling unit has a solid construction. The insulated double frameless enclosure eliminates thermal bridges, which reduces heat loss, especially when installed outdoors, and prevents condensation on the surface during air cooling.

BlauAIR is convenient in maintenance and management, it is equipped with a modern control Plug & Play system based on a programmable Carel controller. The basic parameters are set remotely via a remote-control panel with a user-friendly interface. With the help of a smart system, temperature control, pressure control, airflow, humidity (with additional sensors), air quality control (with CO2 / IAQ sensors), enabling "free-cooling" or "free-heating" modes are possible. The standard outputs of the controller allow the connection of additional sensors.
